MMLP is considered by many the best of all time, the second one, is a visitation of that one, it's basically a semi sequel, the only difference is that it's lyrically superior making it the best of all time. That album is lyrically better than anything he had put out at the time. The rhyming schemes have also become more complex. With the MMLP2 we saw usage of wordplay and double entendres which wasn't seen in his classic early 2000's albums. He could rap / write better than he ever did prior to that album.
